The Global Aids Conference has opened with children aids victims telling us how much they would like to become teachers and architects etc. and have children of their own etc.. Those who make money out of reporting such things intend us to go weak at the knees at this and lose all sight of the fact that the children of those with aids are born with aids and that knowingly having children with aids is an extremely irresponsible thing for anyone to encourage anyone to do.
Frit, somehow always left to do the dirty work, can only contribute the following brutal and unpalatable realities concerning aids:
· Aids is caused by a species of virus.
· A virus is a living, parasitic organism.
· To live, a virus needs a host.
· Once inside a host, the virus lives and multiplies.
· The activity of the virus multiplying within the host destroys the host and the host eventually dies.
· When the host dies, the virus within dies. The only way the virus can survive the death of the host is to enter another host before the present host dies.
· So if all the unfortunate people presently hosting the aids virus were cured, right now, the aids virus would become an extinct lifeform and the pandemic would end. (There is no cure for aids and experts predict that a vaccine probably won’t be found soon – in next 30 years!).
· Or if all the unfortunate people presently hosting the aids virus died, right now, the aids virus would become an extinct lifeform and the pandemic would end.
· Preserving the lives of unfortunate people hosting the aids virus also preserves the life of the virus and provides it time to enter other hosts. (“Since 1989, anti-retroviral medications have provided HIV-positive Americans with 3 million years of extended life.” They have also provided 3 million years of extended life to the virus.)
· 25 million people have died from aids since the pandemic began. The pandemic is considered to be only in its early stages.
· Phrases like “living with HIV” are idiotic and contribute to the spread of the virus.
· Saying that aids is a disease that is “entirely preventable” and a mere matter of “better education” is idiotic and contributes to the spread of the virus.
· Saying that aids is a disease that spreads because George Bush has not pumped enough cash into it is idiotic and contributes to the spread of the virus.
· “The Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS, adopted at an historic special session of the UN General Assembly in 2001, where leaders from 189 Member States committed to comprehensive, time-bound targets for the delivery of effective HIV prevention, treatment, care and support needed to halt and to begin to reverse the global epidemic by 2015” provides cash and careers for some but is idiotic and contributes to the spread of the virus.
· There is nothing wrong with not wanting to get aids and the best way of not getting it is to stay away from those unfortunates who have it and stop trying to imagine we can all get along fine with aids sufferers as long as we don’t use their toothbrush.
The human race, controlled by the International Ruling Class (that makes good money out of conferences) is retreating from the cruel dilemma the aids virus poses and, as a result, the aids virus is going to directly and indirectly kill untold numbers of people and ruin quality of life for untold numbers more.
