Pragmatism

Of course, those who currently run Spain are perfectly in accord with the rest of the international ruling class in supporting the theft of Kosovo. But, in order to prevent the Basques from hoisting them by their own petard, they have had no difficulty in making a “pragmatic” decision. The ruling class is always good at abandoning fine principle in favour of “pragmatic” decision whenever it suits. The ruling class invented the word “pragmatic” especially for use in such cases; it allows it to avoid words like “cheating” and “deceit”.
