Data protection

The EU, a good meaning institution highjacked in entirety by the ruling class, is a solid defender of the right to privacy. It is full of fine phrases such as:

“. . . Member States shall protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons, and in particular their right to privacy with respect to the processing of personal data.”

and

“. . . shall ensure that fundamental rights, with special attention to the right to privacy and to the protection of personal data, will be respected throughout the European Union.”

But all such fine words are, of course, no hamper to the glee with which the members of the European ruling class in all the member states are welcoming the outright theft of data from a Liechtenstein bank that allows them to persecute those they most dislike, i.e. those with more money than themselves.
